    James Edward Meade was a highly influential British economist and Nobel Laureate who, until retirement, held the post of Senior Research Fellow at Christ’s College, Cambridge. Born in Dorset, he studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oriel College, Oxford.

  7. Politics of Gender - Special Feature by Frauensolidaritat (Solidarity Among Women)

    The Germany-based feminist organization Frauensolidarität (Solidarity Among Women) has featured the Routledge title The Politics of Gender in the 'Ausgewählte Neuzugänge' section of its website, which is a list of selected titles of special interest. The Politics of Gender appears at the top of the list, for July.

    This unique title addresses the major themes within the politics of gender, ranging from Gender in International Relations to the Construction of Masculinity in Hollywood Movies.
